Melons? Meloneras?
Meloneras is a vacation resort on Gran Canaria. It’s a newly built resort and it’s in close proximity to the older and more well known resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. Meloneras is marketed as a up-market resort which are nicer and more luxurious than Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles which are only a short taxi ride away.

Most of the hotels in Meloneras are of 4 and 5 star quality and the resort is slightly more up-market than the neighbour resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles.
Top class luxury:
Grand Hotel Residencia where a double room (for 2 persons, bed & breakfast) in the height of season can cost as much as £3000 for one week.
Riu Palace Meloneras is another hotel at the top end of the market, room sfrom £1500 for one week.
Exclusive
Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort Spa and Casino offers all the luxury amenities you are used to from a 4-star hotel. Prices for one week are £700-800 in the height of season.
H10 Playa Meloneras Palace is an exclusive hotel at the same price level as Lopesan.
Cheap and cheerful
Cay Beach Meloneras is a wise choice if you want an apartment style accommodation in Meloneras. From £300 per week for one apartment. We stayed here and enjoyed the week at the hotel. Great staff.
