Meloneras Truth

Along the beach promenade from the Meloneras side towards the beach of Maspalomas there is also a selection of restaurants. Along this promenade there is many big 5 star hotels, and the restaurants in this area is also more expensive and more “up-market” than the restaurants located at Playa Melonaras.

There is quite a few restaurants lined up along the beach promenade from Meloneras towards Maspalomas. Many of them seem very similar in both layout and menus. Unfortunelately, many of them also serve the same classic selection of meat and fish dishes. The prices for a main dish seem to range from €12 to €20. The waiters are dressed in black and white and there is a little bit of a upclass-atmosphere here. The restaurants seem to be very busy at nights between 20-22. Go earlier or later for a more relaxed and less stressed atmosphere.

Expect to pay €4 or even €4.50 for a 0.4l beer in these restaurants.
